About the Frosty 5K
The course starts and finishes on the town green, looping past the marina and fairgrounds along the way. It is a New Year's Day race, so expect cold air and a crowd that showed up on purpose, which says something about the people around you. The route takes in the coastal character of Guilford without going far from the center of town.
Packet pickup runs the day before at a local market on Whitfield Street, and again race morning at the community center on Church Street, where post-race awards and hot clam chowder are also set up. Parking can get busy, so arriving with extra time before the start is worth it.
