About the FRIGHTFUL FAIRWAY 5K (Fall Into Winter)
The course runs through a golf course with views of the river, so the surroundings feel open and a bit different from a road race. The terrain is mostly flat turf and cart paths. Halloween costumes are encouraged, which gives the morning a looser feeling than most fall races.
Packet pickup runs at the recreation center and then at the country club the day before the race, with race-morning pickup available at the country club as well. Light refreshments and breakfast are served after the finish.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The FRIGHTFUL FAIRWAY 5K (Fall Into Winter) has been held every year since at least 2013. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
