About the Friends of the Crawford Swimming Pool Spooky 5k Fun Run
The course runs the White River Trail from Fort Robinson State Park down into the city park, so you begin in open state park territory and finish in town. The surroundings stay natural and spacious for most of the way. Costumes are very much part of this one, and prizes go to the best ones.
Day-of registration opens before the start, so you can show up and sort things out on the spot. The finish is at the city park, where younger kids have their own short fun run a bit later in the morning. Proceeds from the race go toward the local swimming pool.
