About the Friday the 13K - St. George
The race runs at dusk at Crosby Family Confluence Park, and that timing is the whole point. The desert air has cooled by then, and the flat course follows an out-and-back route along the park. The longer distance does the route twice; the shorter option turns back at the halfway point. A headlamp is worth bringing.
Packet pickup opens at the race site about an hour before the start, so there is no need to make a separate trip. Registration and check-in happen in the same window, right where you will be running.
