About the Freedom Run on the Ranch
The course runs through Ladera Ranch on a holiday morning, so the neighborhood itself is decorated and there are residents out watching. The route has several distance options, including a short kids' run, which means the start area has a lot of families spread across different corrals and the energy is more block party than early-morning race.
A breakfast option runs during the event, and there is a vendor and sponsor area near the finish. Packet pickup is the evening before race day. The proceeds go to a children's charity, which the organizers name clearly on all their materials.
