About the Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding Reindeer Run 5K
The race takes place on the grounds of a therapeutic riding center, so the surroundings are rural and horse-country quiet. It benefits a nonprofit that pairs people with disabilities with horses, and that mission is present all around you on race day, not just in the name.
The run happens during a holiday celebration at the farm, so there is plenty going on after you finish. A meal is set up for runners, and the broader event draws families for a full afternoon. Parking and post-race time fold naturally into a day already in motion around you.
