About the Freedom Futbol Club First Annual 5K
The race starts on Aiken Drive and benefits a local nonprofit youth soccer organization. Proceeds go toward coaching, player development, and scholarships for young athletes in the area. The course is a road run through Warrenton, open to anyone moving at any pace.
A food truck from Nokesville Meats serves breakfast after the race, so there is a reason to hang around once you finish. The atmosphere skews toward families and soccer supporters as much as runners.
