About the Frackville Fright
The course rolls through the streets of Frackville, with some climbs that earn their description and a downhill stretch to bring you home. This is a night run, so headlamps and glow sticks are part of the deal, not an afterthought. Many people show up in costume, and prizes go to the best ones. The race benefits a local animal shelter, which draws donations at the finish area.
The start and finish are at the Elks Lodge. Costume contests, award presentations, and a commemorative pint glass add to the post-race scene, so plan to stick around a bit.
