The race starts and finishes at the Trussville Entertainment District, so the start line and the post-race area share the same space. Beyond the standard run, there is a relay option where teams of three carry a jerry can filled with water across the course, passing it along however they like, with separate divisions for men's and women's teams. The event benefits clean water and church-planting work in East Africa.
