About the Forum Fitness 44th Annual Winter Flight 8K & 5K
The 8K and 5K both start near the Catawba College gymnasium and the 8K finishes inside Catawba's Shuford Stadium, which gives that race a distinct endpoint. The 8K also serves as the RRCA state championship for the distance, so the field tends to draw serious competitors alongside everyone else. A half-mile fun run rounds out the morning's options.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local sporting goods store and continues at a pasta dinner that evening at Salisbury City Park. On race day, registration and pickup open at the gymnasium well before the start. Parking follows the same lot layout used for Catawba football games, and a posted map lays it out clearly.
