About the Fort Gibson Elementary's Spooktacular Costume 5K & Fun Run
This is a Halloween costume race that winds mostly through the school campus. The costume element is taken seriously, with prizes for the best-dressed runners. There are distance options for both serious runners and younger kids. Food and coffee trucks are on site, and the event raises money directly for the elementary school's parent-teacher organization.
Packet pickup and registration open in the school's front office on race morning before the start. The whole event runs out of the school building itself, so parking and the start line are in the same place.
