About the Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run
The course runs through downtown Fort Collins on Thanksgiving morning, so the streets feel different than a typical race day. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, which means the field looks more like a neighborhood out for a walk than a starting corral. There is also a kids' fun run that kicks things off before the main event.
The start area is in the heart of downtown. Worth noting: train crossings in the area can push the start back, so build a little buffer into your morning if you are driving in.
