About the Forks 5K
The course runs through Victory Park, where two branches of the Kalamazoo River meet near the center of Albion. It is an evening race, which means the park is lively and the light is still good. Strollers and dogs are welcome on the course, and there is a free kids run alongside the main event.
The race falls during the Festival of the Forks, a citywide event with food and music that continues the following day. Check-in and on-site registration happen in the hour or so before the start, so there is no need to sort things out beforehand. Entry fees go directly to local nonprofits, with race volunteers drawn from those same organizations.

The Forks 5K has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
