About the Forever Home Run
The course runs through neighborhood streets in Bloomfield Hills, with tree-lined roads and fall color overhead. The route is certified and chip-timed, so it is a legitimate one if you want a clean result. Costumes are welcome, and plenty of people show up in them, alongside those running it straight.
The race starts and finishes at a Lutheran church, which also serves as the gathering point for children's activities and community vendors after the run. The church grounds give the morning a central, easy-to-navigate hub.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Forever Home Run has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
