About the Folsom Turkey Trot
The Folsom Turkey Trot runs on Thanksgiving morning and has grown into a well-attended local tradition. Proceeds go toward a food bank, a youth scholarship, and local trail upkeep, and runners are encouraged to bring pantry donations on race day. The course offers both a shorter and a longer distance option, so groups can split up and still finish together.
Packet pickup runs the evening before race day, with no morning pickup available. The event regularly draws a large crowd, and registration does close before race morning, so signing up early is worth doing.
