About the Flying Colors 5K Fun Run/Walk
The course runs along the Yampa River trails through Loudy Simpson Park. It is untimed, and the real draw is the color powder thrown at runners along the way, with hot air balloons lifting off overhead as you go. Wear white if you have it. There is live music at the finish, and the whole thing is tied to a hot air balloon festival happening the same weekend.
Packet pickup happens the morning of the race in the hour before the start. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
