About the Flowers Stampede 5k
The Flowers Stampede is a Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot starting and finishing at a Chick-fil-A in Clayton. The route is a 5K, with a shorter family option launching shortly after. Runners are encouraged to dress as cows, and the stampede theme carries through the whole morning. Proceeds go to the local YMCA Annual Campaign.
The start and finish is right at the restaurant, so there is a clear meeting point for families. Cash is accepted on race day if you have not registered ahead of time. Rain does not cancel it.
