About the FLEE & ELUDE 5K/10K
The shorter distance winds through a golf course, running the fairways with river views through the trees and fall color on both sides. The longer option adds a stretch along the AuSable River and an out-and-back on a rail trail before joining that same golf course finish. Both routes are closed to traffic and run on a mix of trail and maintained path.
Everything starts and finishes at the courthouse, which also has restrooms and changing facilities inside. Check-in runs the morning of the race, wrapping up before the first wave goes off.
