About the FLANNELS & FRIENDS BEER MILE
The race is a beer mile held in a brewery parking lot, so the atmosphere is already doing most of the work. Drink a beer, run a lap, repeat until you have finished all the laps. Non-alcoholic options are available for anyone skipping the beer. Flannel is the dress code, and people take it seriously. Relay teams are welcome if the solo format sounds like too much.
Part of every registration goes to a local hospice organization. Prizes go to the best team name and the best outfit, which means showing up well-dressed is genuinely a competitive strategy. Participants must be twenty-one or older, and ID is checked at the event.
