About the Flannel 5K / 10K
The course runs through Menomonee Park, a wooded setting that in winter means bare trees, quiet trails, and cold air. The terrain is flat, so the effort is honest and mostly aerobic. The flannel theme gives the starting line a look you do not see at most races, with plenty of plaid on display before anyone has warmed up.
Hot chocolate is waiting at the finish, which helps after a cold morning in the park. The race is part of a regional winter series, so you may see familiar faces from other cold-weather events on the course.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
