About the Flamingo Run for Rescues 5k - SOLD OUT!

The course runs through Riverbend Park, and the surroundings are the real draw: a natural park setting that feels removed from the road. The race benefits local animal rescues, and the flamingo theme runs all the way through, with costume prizes for groups and individuals. Strollers are welcome on course. Food and coffee are set up near the start and finish, with several local restaurants and cafes contributing.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a PetSmart location on Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens, with morning-of pickup available as well. The road to the park entrance closes shortly before the start, so arriving early to park and walk in is worth planning for. Volunteers in pink reflective vests direct parking on race day.
