About the 4th Annual Fit and Festive 5k & 1 mile fun run
The course runs along the Kingfisher Trails multipurpose path, an out-and-back route for the longer distance and a loop for the shorter one. The surface is shared-use trail, so it is smooth and consistent underfoot. Prizes go to age group and overall winners, and there is a separate award for the most festively dressed runner.
The race ties into a bigger day in downtown Kingfisher. After you finish, a Christmas parade, fireworks, and a drone show are happening nearby, and Kingfisher Park has a drive-through light display. Participants are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for a holiday food drive at the event.
