About the 2026 FishHawk Turkey Trot
The FishHawk Turkey Trot runs on Thanksgiving morning in Lithia and draws a big crowd, the kind that makes parking and getting to the start line an adventure on its own. Several distance options mean the whole family tends to show up, from serious runners to kids doing a short fun run. Registration benefits a local food bank, so there is some weight behind the morning beyond the holiday tradition.
Packet pickup is offered the evening before at the Palmetto Club on Dorman Road, which is the easier option given how busy race morning gets. On race day, pickup opens in the FishHawk Publix parking lot, which is also where everything starts. Arriving well before your wave is worth it; the organizers themselves say the crowds make the walk to the start take longer than you might expect.

The 2026 FishHawk Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
