About the First Horizon Family Run for Prevention
The course runs through Babcock Ranch, a planned solar-powered community, and is designed to accommodate strollers and dogs alongside runners. The terrain is gentle, and the route has the feel of a neighborhood morning rather than a road race. Age group awards go deep, so runners across a wide range of experience levels have something to race for.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Fleet Feet inside a shopping corridor in Fort Myers; look for CycleBar or Burntwood Tavern to orient yourself and head through the corridor to reach the store. Race-morning pickup happens at Founder's Square in Babcock Ranch, close to the start.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The First Horizon Family Run for Prevention has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
