About the Fireflight Balloon Fest 5K Run/Walk

The course runs on a golf course on the east side of Shawnee, so the ground underfoot is groomed turf rather than pavement or trail. It is mostly flat, with a gentle rise and fall near the start and finish. There is water at roughly the midpoint, and refreshments waiting at the finish.

Packet pickup runs across two days before the race at the Firelake Wellness Center. Race-day pickup is not offered, so plan to go early. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course.
