About the FGSO Glow 5k Run / 1 Mile Walk
This is a night race on the campus of Northeastern State University, starting and finishing in front of the campus fitness center. The course loops around campus several times, and the whole route is dressed in neon lights, glowing decorations, and a tunnel of lights. Glowsticks are part of the deal, and neon gear is encouraged.
Packet pickup is available the evening before the race and again in the hours leading up to the start. Plan to arrive early if you can; there is a pre-race gathering out front with yard games and music before the run begins. Timing is handled by volunteers rather than a professional company, so expect a casual approach to finish times.
