About the Festivus For The Rest Of Us 5k 6th Annual 12/13/26
The course starts and finishes in front of an old ambulance garage next to the fire hall. The first half works gradually uphill, passing a historic iron furnace out toward state gamelands, then turns around and comes back downhill through town. It is not a closed course, but traffic out that way is sparse, and volunteers manage the one stretch where you cross a main road.
Packet pickup and day-of registration both happen at the fire hall on race morning, with registration closing before the start to get everyone into the timing system. The race benefits the local volunteer fire company. There are photo areas set up around the start and finish, and snacks are out after you cross the line.
