About the Festive Pines 5K
The course winds through a working Christmas tree farm, so you are running among rows of pine trees rather than on roads or a park path. There is a shorter option that splits off early toward one grove while the longer route continues deeper into the farm. Evening lights through the trees give it a distinctly holiday feel.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a running store, with a second window at the farm on race day afternoon. The barn serves as the post-race gathering spot, with coffee and cocoa from a local roaster and cookies on hand. Santa is set up for photos inside the barn and out behind it.
