About the Felicity Gourd & Harvest Festival 5K Walk/Run
The course starts in front of the elementary school and winds through the back side of town before looping through the Franklin Township Walking Trail and returning to where it began. The surface is fully paved, with a gentle incline along the way and a handful of small hills near the park. It works well for strollers.
This race is put on by the school's FCCLA chapter, tied to a local harvest festival happening the same day. The start and finish at the school gives the morning a neighborhood feel, with the festival activity nearby.
