About the 2nd Annual Farmingdale Elementary PTC Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run
The course runs on grassy trail through a Prairie Habitat Preserve near the school, so expect softer footing underfoot rather than pavement. Off-road strollers are welcome on the route, though dogs are not permitted on the grounds. The race benefits the school's parent-teacher organization, and the atmosphere reflects that, with distance options for younger kids alongside the main event.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Farmingdale Elementary, with race-morning pickup opening about an hour before the start. Parking is on school grounds. Water and bananas are available after you finish.
