About the Farm to Farm Ultra

The course runs on trails through Wolfe's Neck Center and Freeport Conservation Trust land, looping through conserved farmland and forest. Trail underfoot means roots and natural terrain, not groomed paths. It sits inside a regional points series, so you will see runners chasing standings alongside those just out for a long day in the woods.

Common Questions About the Farm to Farm Ultra

Will I finish last at the Farm to Farm Ultra?

Almost certainly not. Half the 25K field finished slower than 2:58:30, and the last recorded finisher came in around 4:59:20, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Farm to Farm Ultra a good first 25K?

It is a small race (37 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 25K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Farm to Farm Ultra?

The 25K winner ran 1:37:56 while the median finisher took 2:58:30. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
