The FAMpoint5k is a half-kilometer fundraiser held at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens in Grand Junction, and the distance is genuinely the point. There is no training needed and no pressure to run. The route passes a donut station in the middle, and costumes are encouraged. The whole thing raises money for people affected by the foster care system.
