About the Falling Leaves 8 miler and 5K

The course runs through Secor and Wiregrass Metroparks on all-purpose and natural trails. The longer option follows the park trail out to Wiregrass Lake, loops around the water, and comes back the same general way. The shorter option stays within Secor. Both routes are smooth underfoot with no real technical sections, and the woods put on a show when the leaves are turning.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup available at the park. The finish area is at the Secor Room, and there are raffle drawings for gift certificates after the race.
