About the 2026 Fall Prairie Fire Marathon
The course follows the Arkansas River out of the gate, then winds through downtown streets, older residential neighborhoods, and park land before coming back to the river. The finish is at Equity Bank Park, which gives the end of the race a proper sense of arrival rather than a parking-lot letdown.
Packet pickup runs the day before the race at a vendor expo, so there is no need to sort out a bib on race morning. The post-race area at the finish has food, drinks, and an awards ceremony, and the setup encourages sticking around for a while.
