The course runs a paved trail around Baw Beese Lake, starting from Sandy Beach. Fall color is the backdrop for most of the route, and the lakeside setting keeps things scenic without any significant climbing. Chip timing is used throughout, and the course is well marked. Age group awards go deep into the field.
