About the Fall for the Park 5K: Flannel Fest
The course runs through Blooms Park, and fall foliage is a real presence here, not just a backdrop. The route has the kind of tree cover that makes an early winter morning feel worth getting up for. The race benefits a local food assistance program, so the post-race mood tends to carry a little extra weight beyond just the finish line.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a community center in Manassas Park, with the race itself starting at the park the following morning. Awards go to the top overall finishers in both the men's and women's fields.
