About the Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Road Runs
The course runs through Fall Creek Falls State Park, starting and finishing in the Taft Village area near the dam. Shorter routes head out and back along a paved path through the woods, while longer routes follow park roads past the inn and loop back. The path stays under tree cover most of the way, and the park's main waterfall is close enough to be part of the scenery.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race and again early on race morning. The park is genuinely remote, so plan your drive accordingly and consider booking a cabin or campsite inside the park. Aid stations are spaced throughout the course, and carrying your own bottle is encouraged for refills. There is post-race food and music back at the finish area.
