About the 5th Annual Fall Classic
The course runs on grass and dirt trails with mostly flat ground and some gently rolling sections. It has the feel of a cross country race, which makes sense, since high school cross country teams run it too. The surroundings are trail rather than pavement, so expect a little give underfoot. Race proceeds go toward shoes, uniforms, and a scholarship for local youth runners.
Bib pickup opens before the start and closes shortly before the gun. There is also a short kids' course for younger runners, with ribbons for every finisher.
