The course runs through Rocky Mount with scripture signs posted along the path and volunteers cheering at intervals. Awards go to top finishers overall, to the fastest ministry team, and to the largest group, so there is a team element alongside the individual race. A virtual option lets remote participants run wherever they choose and submit a GPS-tracked time through an app.
