About the Eye on the Pie 5k Turkey Trot
The course runs a short loop inside Groveport Park, repeated a couple of times, so you pass the same crowd more than once. The terrain looks to be flat park ground, and the atmosphere leans heavily into the Thanksgiving theme, with a live DJ keeping things moving.
The big draw after crossing the finish is the pie. Runners choose between apple and pumpkin, whole pies, not slices, which makes the post-race scene in the park feel more like a holiday party than a typical race finish.

The Eye on the Pie 5k Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
