About the Every Road Leads to Healing 5k Run / 1 Mile Walk
The longer course starts at Spinner's Park, winds through downtown Prattville, and loops back to where it began. The shorter walk heads down a nearby street and turns around at an intersection, keeping things simple and close to the park. Both routes stay on roads rather than trails.
The race benefits a volunteer-led nonprofit that supports families who have lost children to miscarriage or stillbirth. Results are announced back at the park after the run, so there is a natural gathering point at the end of the morning.
