About the Enjoy Your Life Happy Half Marathon & Friendly 5K
The half marathon starts on Water Street in downtown Amesbury and loops out through farmland and tree-lined roads into two neighboring towns before returning. Most of the hills are gentle rolls, but there is one sustained climb early on. The 5K runs an out-and-back from the same start area. Both courses are mostly paved.
Packet pickup is the evening before at a yoga studio in a nearby town. Parking along Water Street is limited, with overflow a short walk away in business lots off Oakland Street. After the race, there is music, food vendors, healthy snacks, and cold beer from a local brewery right at the finish.
