About the Engelheim Vineyards Wine Run 5k

The course winds through the vineyard rows in a couple of loops, so you get a good look at the estate vines on each pass. The footing is cross-country style, meaning some uneven ground and a few inclines, nothing brutal but worth wearing trail or grippy shoes. There is wine at the finish, poured on the grounds of the vineyard itself.

Pickup is on race morning, available before the start. The vineyard welcomes kids and dogs, so the post-race scene on the grounds tends to be a mix of finishers sipping wine and families wandering the property.
