About the Elktoberfest Wine & Beer Run 5K
The course starts and finishes at a local wine shop, heading west before turning south toward the lake, then looping past a golf course and along Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive before turning back. The route is a point-to-point loop through the streets near the water, and there are refreshments, wine, and craft beer waiting at the finish.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the start, with a bib that doubles as a drink ticket for a post-race pour. The process is straightforward, staffed by volunteers, and designed to move quickly so there is no waiting around before the gun.
