About the EHT Nature Reserve Turkey Trot 5k & 1 Miler

The course runs through the EHT Nature Reserve in Egg Harbor Township, mixing sandy beach along a lake's edge with wooded trails that roll up and down through the trees. The terrain underfoot shifts as you go, and the climbs and descents give the route some genuine shape. It reads as a trail-style race more than a road 5k.

Parking at the reserve is not available on race day. Runners park at a nearby school and catch a shuttle that runs continuously before and after the race. Registration opens race morning ahead of the start.
