About the Eckert's Spiked Apple 5k

The course runs through Eckert's orchard and farm on the edge of Belleville, mixing paved paths with grass and cross-country-style stretches. The scenery is genuinely farm country. There is a pedestrian bridge mid-route where traffic runs both ways, so you will be sharing it with participants heading the opposite direction, and the instructions are clear: stay right.

Packet pickup is the evening before at the Cider Shed on the farm property, and race-morning pickup opens early if you cannot make it. After finishing, there are cider donuts and a pour of cider waiting, and the farm has a full restaurant and hard cider shed if you want to stick around.
