About the East End Sizzler 10K/5K

This chip-timed race runs through the small community of East End, with separate routes for the shorter and longer distances starting at the same time. The course is open long enough that walkers and those taking it easy are welcome alongside faster runners. Age-group awards go deep in each category, so competitive runners have something to chase.

The race is put on by a local Lions Club chapter and raises money for childhood cancer research and family support, with ties to Arkansas Children's Hospital. There is post-race recognition for top finishers across a broad spread of age groups.
