The course runs on a paved trail along the Holmes County Trail out of Killbuck, turns around at the halfway point, and comes back the same way. It is flat throughout, and the smooth surface suits walkers and newer runners without trouble. Awards follow at the Town Square in downtown Killbuck, where the Early American Days festival is already underway.
