About the Dunkin Donut Dash 5k
Both distances start and finish at Rotary Park, winding through the Rose Garden neighborhood. The park setting is pleasant and the streets are residential, so the surroundings are quiet rather than urban. The one-mile option has a twist: runners eat a donut before each lap, which makes that race its own thing entirely.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local Dunkin' on Pine Island Road, with race-morning pickup available at the park before the start. The finish line has drinks courtesy of Dunkin', and the race itself benefits the Cape Coral Police Athletic League's youth programs.
