About the Duncan Lake Middle School Color Run
This is a color run on a loop course at a middle school, where volunteers posted along the route douse runners in colored powder as they pass. You can do as many laps as you like, so it moves at whatever pace suits you. Families with young kids and older runners tend to show up together for this one.
After the run there are food trucks, yard games, and music in the area. The event doubles as a school fundraiser, so the crowd skews local and the mood is more neighborhood cookout than race morning.
